Two small bathrooms were combined in this 1980’s home to create a gorgeous master bath. Since my clients were older, we wanted to make sure it was easily navigable with handicap bars in bath and shower without sacrificing style and luxury. We started off by carving out a corner space for a generous walk-in shower with an adjacent soaking tub. Since the client wanted to use her mother’s antique vanity for a dressing table, we found a complementary antique buffet that was easily converted to a vessel sink vanity, topped with a stunning slab of granite. In keeping with the vintage flavor, we accented the room with sparkling crystal chandeliers and marble-based vanity lamps, with luxurious fabrics on the vanity bench and window cornice. The only thing missing is a tiara.
