This 1970’s kitchen got a dramatic SpaceLiFT without breaking the bank. We removed an unused desk area on the right and relocated the refrigerator there to allow for the removal of the front left corner of the kitchen, which totally opened the space up to the living area and foyer. We also removed the outdated florescent light fixture which allowed us to raise the kitchen ceiling by a foot and replaced lighting with a sleek track of spotlights that highlight the gorgeous new retro backsplash, sparkling quartz countertops and dramatic and colorful artwork on the back wall. The cabinets were painted a fresh gray-green and walls a soft seasalt. Natural finish oak floors replaced the drab vinyl, but we kept the retro built-in Jenn Air range!
